Week 9-Does your art make any kind of social or political statement? What do you think about art or artists that make social or political statements?

I believe that some of my art do make some sort of social or political statement in a way, probably not very strong more like the subtle kind. I believe that artists that make a clear statement of social or political statements can a pro and con side to that subject matter since the artist could bring up a subject that is very sensitive; but I do believe as an artist that I am not responsible to comment or raise public awareness to certain subjects yet at the same time we do want to reach out to the public about how we feel on certain subjects.
