Week 4-What role will improved writing play in your life as an artist? Why write? If you’re an artist, what good will writing an essay do for you?

I believe that writing is an important skill for any profession. I think that ideally “good” writing allows the author to express him or herself clearly to the reader. I hope that improved writing will help me as an artist by allowing me to be clearly understood by people I will work with professionally. Writing is a helpful exercise for people to learn to articulate their ideas and organize them into a form understandable by others. I think that art often has that goal in common with writing and is therefore useful to artists.
