Week 6-Is Otis what you expected? Reflecting back to the days before you attended Otis, what did you expect to experience or happen? How is that that
The days before I came to Otis, I thought of myself being a really creative person and I was different from the crowds at my high school. I also believe that when I got to Otis I would fit with everybody there, and it would totally be different than the life I had in high school, actually better than the life I had in high school. I remember the first week that I moved into the student housing at Fountain Park apartments, I had the time of my life, and I met tons of new people. Then school started a week later, and at first it was really fun and stuff, then later as more work was pile onto me, it became a drag to go to school. Now, after a semester has pass by, I am not as stressed as I was before, and is getting closer towards the end of Foundation year, so I am so ready for Sophomore year. ☺

Otis is exactly what I expected. I came to visit the school before I submitted my intent to attend, so I knew what everything looked like, and I got a feel for my chemistry with the campus. The admissions office did a very good job of informing me on the ways of the school, so there were really no surprises. My counselor told me that the curriculum at Otis is very challenging, so I knew that foundation year would be a lot of work coming into it. After visiting I knew Otis was the right school for me and I have been happy all year long.
