If you're an artist, what good will improved writing skills do for you?

Writing plays such a crucial role in society. It is something I have learned every year since I was five. If it was not important, than I do not think that I would have wasted fourteen years of my life cramming this knowledge into my brain. As an artist, improved writing skills are important to learn. In college, learning these skills prepare me for writing in the future and they give me enough credits to graduate! Later on, for my carer, I will need to write resumes, critiques and maybe excerpts on my work. All of these things will be difficult to write without the proper skills. Improved writing can only help my career as an artist and is essential to my to future!
