"what is an artist"

I think an artist is someone who uses a media to convey a message. They can use that media as their launchpad for their feelings. Sometimes artists use their craft to create something for use, like architecture or a product and sometimes for entertainment like performance and music. I also believe that an artist can have the ability to create a piece that has a powerful statement that makes a viewer perceive something differently or question it. An artist in my opinion has one of the coolest jobs, because they are creating things that are meant to be viewed or heard and when artists do this for companies, that do advertisement or products, there work gets taken in by countless people, and that feeling in my opinion can be one of the most fulfilling feelings in the world.
