Week 9-Does your art make any kind of social or political statement? What do you think about art or artists that make social or political statements?

Yup, my work does have social and political statement; more social than political though. And I think its great that people incorporate these subjects into their art. Its very inspiring to hear that people are trying to change the world with their art. It also makes the piece stronger and more valued depending on what is said or how its depicted. I think public awareness one of the best contributions an artist could give to the world. I've seen so many people that are oblivious of the world's problems and expectations that one should overcome. Especially, some people have social issues to deal with and they distract them from living life or growing. And if people told them how to react to some situations then it would make their life be more bearable.
