As you are enrolled in art school, I would make the logical assumption that you consider yourself an artist. I want to know, based on your experience or insight, what is an artist?

I believe an artist is someone that expresses his/herself through his/her art. Artists create art not only to expresses themselves, but to give people viewing pleasures as well. They use their creativity, skill, and talents to provide the rest of the world with entertainment, beauty, and design. Without artists, there would be no art, and without art, life would be boring because there would be no creative or aesthetic beauty.
