Living in California, near the movie industry, is a good thing for any one's art because the media demands artists. Countless many jobs come out of the entertainment industry. It is especially good for the direction I am headed which is costume design. I would love to be a part of the movie industry and being in LA is the perfect place for that. Beside just the job aspect California also offers a lot of inspiration. There are so many artists in LA that it is incredibly competitive, but this also makes people even more creative and pushes them to be the very best. I think going to school in LA will be a helpful tool for us to see what the industry is like and what we need to do in order to be a part of it.
