writing as an artist week 4 questionaire

i belive that the otis school of art and design teaches us to write in a better way to help us express ourselves freely. without having tied down of our own words, improving to write as an adult help us artists to go beyond our limits in our own way. if we were to just create art as artists without having the knowledge as an individual being capable to express in words, what is the good in only being able to express through what we make? although i believe it shouldn't be all about the art of writing, it is an important factor, i believe, in being able to communicate with other non-artists and artists through writing. the more the merrier, right?
